A workshop to help rediscover creative and un-commercialized play. A screening of Consuming Kids will inspire us to take back our children’s right to creative play. A wealth of informational resources will be available as well as a hands on toy petting zoo of homemade and recycled-material toys that will awaken the inner child in us all and guide us in finding creative alternatives to commercialized play. There is a parent/child room available if you need to bring your child but need to step out with them briefly.
